Last week I volunteered at Theplace2b, a safe haven for homeless and displaced youth. I took my supplies and we handmade thank-you cards for them to use. Below are some of the finished goods.
As you can see, my old "O" magazines were put to good use. I think Oprah would be proud!
Providing positive relationships with caring adults is an important part of serving with homeless youth. Volunteer during after school hours and provide a positive and caring adult presence!
