Alt Online Classes + Bing

Last month I took two Alt Online Classes: DSLR 102 and Turn Your Blog Into a Brand (and Then Into a Business!). Each class was 60 minutes and completely worth the minimal $15 registration fee. The presenters were professional and shared a wealth of knowledge in an easy-going, non-confusing way.

This month I'm excited to take two more Alt Online Classes, and they are FREE thanks to Bing. #thanksbing

Last week I volunteered at Theplace2b, a safe haven for homeless and displaced youth. I took my supplies and we handmade thank-you cards for them to use. Below are some of the finished goods.

As you can see, my old "O" magazines were put to good use. I think Oprah would be proud!

Providing positive relationships with caring adults is an important part of serving with homeless youth. Volunteer during after school hours and provide a positive and caring adult presence!
